Question by Anya Armarok: How to draw anime on the computer?
So I’ve been drawing anime for a little while now (pen and paper) and I think it’s time to upgrade. The problem is… how? I see anime pictures on Deviant Art and they look like they’ve been made on the computer. Is there like a software or something that I can use? Preferably free software?

Best answer:

Answer by Tinieblas
A tablet always helps. Some kind of drawing/art program for your computer too. And a scanner, if you like to draw with pen and paper and then touch up using the tablet on a computer.

Drawn by Centimetre as she’s known in the Artist Alley, you can also find her as cutemew.deviantart.com/ online, and AKA Lisha Lee. It’s the third year in a row that Kyle and I got them done by her. :)

Question by OMGWTFBBQ!!1: What should I do during the Super Bowl?
Don’t say, “Watch the Super Bowl.”

I hit on this idea in college. During the Super Bowl, where will everyone be? They will have their butts parked on the couch, which means they won’t be out and about creating crowds everywhere. Since I have absolutely no interest in watching football, this is the perfect time to go and do something that I would otherwise avoid because of crowds.

What is a great place to go in Chicago that would normally be choked with crowds on a Sunday afternoon?

Best answer:

Answer by yay
drink beer and invite your friend to a super bowl party

Question by Ku Ku Kachu: steps to become a wedding cake decorator?
How on EARTH do I even begin? I’m majoring in business when I go to college or Hospitality because they don’t have a culinary branch. These big schools like ” the art institute” are NOT that great and I can be taught elsewhere for a fourth of the price, where would I even begin? I’m looking into making pastries, mainly wedding and birthday cakes. Are there some classes near Arkansas or Texas that are worth taking?

Best answer:

Answer by angela
See if there are any Wilton classes in your area. They are usually offered at Michael’s or A. C. Moore or that type of craft store. You could also go to www.wilton.com, there’s probably a place there to search for classes in your area. I took 3 Wilton courses several years ago and have made a lot of cakes. I also taught for a while. The classes aren’t as involved as a pastry school would be but you will learn enough to do birthday and wedding cakes.

Question by nice jewish boy: Does it ever surprise you that schools with more liberal arts kids tend to be bigger party schools?
look at georgetown, duke, michigan, or brown…sure they are really good schools but yet people associate them as more of a “party school” than say MIT or Caltech or Carnegie Mellon even though all these schools are peer schools on many measures…its just that georgetown, duke, michigan, and brown have a lot more humanities students than say MIT or Caltech or Carnegie
yuan definitely has a valid point. for an engineering class, I definitely spend serious hours studying to even get a B or B+. To get an A, I really have to work at it. Now in management or my english classes, I can crank out a paper in a few hours and get a B+ or A- without much difficulty.

Best answer:

Answer by It’s all about me not you
I can’t say that that excites me….
